August 29, 2014 Tempe, AZ -- Vemma® Founder and CEO BK Boreyko has been awarded “CEO of the Year” in the first annual Academy of Multilevel Marketing Awards.

“I am honored to have been chosen for this award and thank the Academy for their work to promote and recognize excellence in the industry,” said Boreyko.

The Academy of Multilevel Marketing’s (TAMM) mission, as a global organization, is to recognize and reward industry leaders in all categories of business who exhibit the "best of the best." TAMM is driven by an elite group of industry leaders and experts, and honors those that exemplify the "gold standards" of the industry, as stated on www.academyofmlm.com.

“When I started this company, I started it with one purpose, and that purpose was to help families avoid the pain that I went through at my parents’ untimely deaths from cancer and heart disease. I was blessed with great parents that taught me that one person can make a difference. That one person can impact and start a movement. We have started a movement that is turning into a revolution. It’s your turn,” said Boreyko.

The TAMM competition consists of nominations and voting in 10 competition categories. Vemma was nominated in three categories, including Company of the Year and Product of the Year for the insanely healthy energy drink, Verve®. Winners for all categories were announced on the Academy website.

Award eligibility was open to any company, person or product regardless of their affiliation to any trade association, their geographic location, or to what extent they support TAMM. Nominations and votes were cast by peer Members of The Academy of Multilevel Marketing.
